資訊管理課程中學生學習之釋意歷程-非同步線上討論機制的使用,楊亨利 尤松文
非同步線上討論機制是遠距教學系統中最重要的功能之一,它提供學生彼此與師生之間一個課堂外聯繫及討論的管道。在面對著重討論的資訊管理課程時,非同步線上討論機制的使用能讓討論的質與量均獲得有效的成長。但從教育的觀點來看,工具的使用並不能代表一切。本研究發現課程設計及老師的授課態度會讓學生表現出異於本身應有學習型態的學習狀況,轉而明顯傾向於群體合作學習。同時本研究發現這樣的改變完全來自於學生對於課程要求的釋意結果:從個人釋意到團體認同。本研究從學生的角色出發來分析學習的歷程,也發現學生的釋意結果充份的引導了他們的學習方法。

網路商店成功模式之探討—以農產品網站為例,黃振中 楊曉微
本研究採用DeLone & McLean的泛用型資訊系統成功模型,透過文獻探討找尋影響網路商店營運成功的六類系統模型變數。以台北縣農會「真情食品館」電子商務網站會員為研究對象,驗證此模型。研究結果發現,系統品質、資訊品質、服務品質會影響使用者使用以及使用者滿意度,其中以服務品質對使用者使用的影響最大,系統品質對使用者滿意度的影響最小;而使用者的使用及滿意度會影響其使用系統的效益,且效益對使用者的使用及滿意度具有回饋的效果。

以樹狀結構儲存XML網頁資料倉儲之歷史版本資料,趙景明 高顥璋
本研究的網頁資料倉儲是以儲存XML網頁資料為主的XML網頁資料倉儲(XML Web Warehouse)。我們引用部分物件導向的(Object-Oriented)相關技術,把XML網頁資料的每一個元素當作是一個物件(Object),亦將XML網頁資料視為一個樹狀結構的物件。
在XML網頁的歷史資料(Historical Data)方面,我們考慮到XML網頁歷史資料的變更,通常是部分元素的變動而不是整份XML文件全部更新。因此我們把不同時間的XML歷史資料視為一個獨立的版本(Version)資料,並且把版本延伸至每一個元素,利用版本號與時間對應的方式,在更新XML網頁資料時僅儲存變動元素的版本及其資訊,而省去儲存整份文件的繁複工作。
在儲存變動元素的歷史資料,我們採用Edit Script的方式,將變動元素內容的歷史演進記錄下來,進而採取了二元樹路徑的儲存架構來改進序列式(Sequential)Edit Script架構,讓XML網頁資料倉儲的儲存及擷取都更加的有系統、有效率。在最後的實驗得知:版本二元樹架構在節省空間的前提下,亦改善了序列式Edit Script繁瑣的計算量,得到更好的效能。

消費者特性、網路企業特性、產品特性、以及網路環境特性對網路購物行為影響之研究, 蕭銘雄 蔣惠蓮
本研究主要目的在探討影響消費者網路購物行為的可能因素,但與過去文獻不同的是,本研究將影響網路購物意願的因素區分為四大構面,包括消費者特性、產品特性、網路企業特性、網路環境特性等,此四大構面反應了消費者(消費者特性)以網際網路為管道(網路環境特性),向企業(網路企業特性)購買商品或服務(產品特性)的現實情況,所涵蓋的構面較過去相關文獻更為完整。研究結果發現,網路企業特性的影響最為廣泛且顯著;但產品特性的影響則較為特定,只有商品運送的便利性與數位化程度會顯著影響消費者的網路購物意願。此外,本研究也發現網路環境特性確實存在某些特定的干擾效果,顯示消費者在考慮產品特性與網路企業特性的同時,也會顧慮到網路環境特性問題,特別是網路交易的安全性與網路企業提供的購物流程便利性等。整體而言,本研究確實證實了一般消費者與網路企業的許多疑慮,特別是網路購物最常為人詬病的商品運送問題、網路交易的安全性問題、以及網路傳輸速度問題,網路企業必須正視與因應。

拍賣網站服務品質與信任認知對顧客忠誠度關係之研究,謝順金 黃雅鳳
觀察近期對國內網友拜訪拍賣網站的調查資料得知,拍賣網站的瀏覽人數正以極快的速度在增加當中,突顯網路拍賣的市場效益。然而在競爭激烈的拍賣網站市場,建立良好的顧客忠誠度才是網站長期獲利的關鍵因素。
本研究主要探討拍賣網站的服務品質與信任認知兩構面對於拍賣網站顧客忠誠度影響關係。以Yahoo!拍賣網與台灣eBay兩拍賣網站的使用者為研究對象,採用網路問卷調查方式,回收204份有效問卷。
經研究結果顯示:拍賣網站的服務品質對顧客忠誠度有正向的顯著關係,服務品質的「網站設計」對顧客忠誠度關係的解釋能力最高,其次為「便利性」、「可靠性」與「反應性」。顧客忠程度會因不同的信任認知而有顯著差異,信任認知越高同時會擁有較高的顧客忠誠度;拍賣網站的服務品質對顧客忠誠度影響會因不同的信任認知而有差異;當使用者的信任認知很低時,顧客忠誠度會對拍賣網站提供的服務品質特別敏感,並以「網站設計」與「可靠性」為最重要的衡量因素。

結合基因演算法和模擬退火法在機組排程決策之應用,張振松
本文以結合了基因演算法(Genetic Algorithm)與模擬退火法(Simulated Annealing)之特點而成之混合基因退火法(Hybrid Genetic Algorithm/Simulated Annealing, HGSA)來進行電力系統之最佳機組排程決策(Unit CommitmentDecision, UCD);使得電力系統運轉成本能降至最低。本文以台灣電力公司之大型實際系統(Tai-Power System)為例,以HGSA進行最佳排程決策,以證實該決策方法之發展潛力與實用價值。結果證實結合基因演算法與模擬退火法之最佳化技巧,確實能在短時間內就能求得令人滿意的收斂值,是解決組合性最佳化問題的有效方法。

多行動代理人於行動商務之效能模型—以線上議價為例,林朝興 黃家盛
近年來無線通訊快速地發展,使用行動通訊設備上網詢價並購物的方式,成為一種普遍的消費行為。由於傳統Client-Server線上購物平台需要一直與網站來回通訊,常因無線通訊品質不良,而延長處理時間,使得成本相對提高。另一方面,行動代理人只需將行動碼(Mobile Code)傳送至商務網站內,直接與網站做溝通,因此可以減少頻寬需求。一般而言,所派遣行動代理人越多,其並行計算(Parallel Computing)能力可有效降低總等待時間,但行動代理人數量越多,卻也無可避免地增加網路傳輸及結果整合時間,反而降低系統效能。
針對多行動代理人的數目及相關參數對於系統之影響做效能評估的研究,至今尚未能有一完整的評估模型。本論文提出在行動商務上利用多行動代理人做線上議價之效能模型,並比較其與傳統Client-Server購物平台之效能差異。模擬實驗結果顯示:當 1) 行動碼對Client-Server交易平台資料長度之倍數過高;2)在Client-Server之搜尋資料所包含垃圾資料百分比很低;3) 代理人的數量對總搜尋網站比例過高時,多行動代理人之處理效能反而比Client-Server差。除此之外,議價總次數與連線失敗率的增加對Client-Server的效能影響比較大。

The essence of MIS encourages discussion. Asynchronous forum is an important element of distanced education systems. It could provide an additional cyberspace of discussion after class, and help more discussions in quality and quantity. However, from the perspective of education, the usage of tools is just part of course activities. With the analysis of sense making, this research found that the major variables affecting learning effects of students are the teaching style and the course design of the teacher. No matter what learning styles, students would move to cooperative learning. Such changes came from their sense making of class environment: first individual sense making, then identification to group sense making. This research found that student’s sense making would guide his (her) learning process.

The IS Success Factors of E-Commerce Systems
-- Taking an Agricultural Web Store as an Example

In this article, we set up an empirical study to validate the updated DeLone & McLean IS Success Model. Some variables relating to the six success dimensions of this model have been collected by the literature review. To verify the validity of this model, we execute an on-line survey from the members of a local agricultural web store. The result shows that system quality, information quality and service quality can influence the system use and user satisfaction. Among the three qualities, system quality has the strongest effect on system use, and on user satisfaction, the influence of information quality is the least one. The system use as well as user satisfaction can both affect user’s benefit and the user benefit also feedback to the system use and user satisfaction.

Storing Historical Version Data in XML Web Warehouse Using Tree Structure

The Web Warehouse that we study is XML Web Warehouse specialize in storing XML Web data. We utilize some object-oriented related technology to treat every element of an XML document as an object. And we regard XML Web data as an object of a tree structure.
We consider an update of XML Web data that usually only some element changes instead of whole XML document. The historical data of different time are regarded as an independent version. We separate the Temporal Data from the XML document, and we utilize the corresponding way of version and time make every version of XML Web data extend to every element. In the historical data part of the element changed, we only store the content of each element version by Edit Script. And the binary tree storage structure we have adopted can improve the sequential Edit Script structure. At the end of this research, experiment that we make proves that our theory is correct.

The Impacts of Characteristics of Consumers, E-Business, Product, and the Internet Environment on Online Shopping Behavio

The purpose of this study is to investigate factors affecting consumers’ online shopping behavior, including consumers’ demographic characteristics, product characteristics, e-business characteristics and the Internet environment. These four factors reflect the fact that consumers (demographic characteristics) shop goods (product characteristics) from e-business (e-business characteristics) by the aid of the Internet (Internet environment), and hence are considered more extensive than those in other studies. The results of this study indicate that the effects of e-business characteristics one consumers’ online shopping intensions are extensive and significant, but those of product characteristics are relatively specific. Moreover, this study also finds specific moderating effects of Internet environment on the product characteristic and online shopping intension relationship, and e-business characteristic and online shopping intension relationship. In other words, while considering the product characteristic and e-business characteristic of online shopping, consumers generally also worried about the factors associated with the Internet environment, especially the problems with transaction security and transmission speed online.

A Study for The Effect of Service Quality and Trust Perception to Customer’s Loyalty on On-line Auction

According to the survey of domestic user visiting on-line auction, the number of visiting is increasing in rapid speeds, which reveal the efficiency of auction web. However, the key of earning profit is building customer’s loyalty well.
The paper is researching the effect of service quality and trust perception to customer’s loyalty. Sampling is focused on the user of Yahoo Auction and eBay Taiwan, by internet surveys, and 204 effective samples were received.
The followings are the conclusions. Service quality is positive relation to the customer’s loyalty, the web design has the most influence to the customer’s loyalty, the other influence sequence in order is the convenience, reliability and responsibility factors. Customer’s loyalty will be influence by the degree of trust perception. The higher degree of trust perception is, the higher service quality has. The effect of service quality to customer’s loyalty is differentiated with the difference of the trust perception. The effect above is obvious when trust perception is lower. Under the lower trust perception, the customer’s loyalty influenced by service quality is the most sensitively. The most sensitive factors are web design and reliability.

Approach to Optimal Unit Commitment Decision by HGSA

This paper adopted the hybrid genetic algorithm and simulated annealing (HGSA) approach to optimal Unit CommitmentDecision (UCD) of power systems in order to reduce the total operation cost of operation of power systems. In this paper, we used a large-scale practical power system, Taiwan Power System (Tai-Power System) as example approach to the optimal UCD by HGSA, to indicate its high potential and practical values. From the test results, it can be found that the combination of genetic algorithm and simulated annealing is the most effective technique to solve the combinatorial optimization problem.

Performance Model of Applying Mobile Multi-Agent on Mobile Commerce: An Example of Online Bargaining

In recent years due to the rapid development of wireless communications, the online bargaining and shopping through handhold devices have gradually become a common consumptive behavior. Because the traditional client-server platform must continuously communicate with a website, the poor quality of wireless communication often prolongs this kind of online shopping process. Consequently, the cost of mobile commerce is relatively increased. On the other hand, a mobile shopping agent only transmits its mobile code into commercial websites, and directly interacts with those websites. Therefore, it can reduce the requirement of network bandwidth. In general, with the increasing number of the dispatched mobile agents the increasing parallelism of computing capacity effectively reduces the overall waiting time. However, it inevitably increases the time of network transmission and result integration, which leads to the degradation of system performance.
So far no significant model evaluating the pros and cons of system performance of online bargaining for mobile multi-agent and client-server platforms in mobile commerce has been found. In this paper, we propose a performance evaluation model of mobile multi-agent for online bargaining and compare the system performance with the traditional client-server model. The experimental results show that the performance of mobile multi-agent is inferior to that of client-server model when 1) the ratio of the length of a mobile code to the size of a request of client-server model is too high; 2) the percentage of garbage data in a client-server model is too low; 3) the ratio of the number of mobile agents to the number of overall searched websites is too high. In addition, the performance of client-server is more affected by the increase of total times of negotiation and connection failure than that of mobile multi-agent model.
